When The Grapes changed hands, they and their wine supplier wanted the pub to become a destination. In conjunction with Enotria, The Grapes installed a By The Glass back bar system which makes them instantly different to all their competitors in the area. It also means that they have a striking and effective point of sale system behind the bar for the great wines they serve.

The Grapes is one of the pubs which the sailors who were due to sail on The Titanic went for a final drink. Some of them subsequently missed the ship having enjoyed one too many at The Grapes’ pleasure!

Result

Since installing the dispenser it has become a talking point, and word of mouth recommendations have spread, resulting in increased trade.
