Marco Attard bought the machines to offer something different to the wine drinkers of Surrey. By offering 48 wines at any time for them to try, it means they can taste wines before they buy, and try wines which would not normally be available for tasting on an ad hoc basis.

The machines are fitted with card readers, allowing Marco the control to hand out cards, or to give tutored tastings when the need arises.

Results

The system is unique in Cobham, and has showed great results. People visit The Wine Reserve in the knowledge they will be able to try a range of great wines that aren’t found in supermarkets and general off-licenses. The machines, coupled with Marco’s specialist wine list, ensures that a trip to his store will always be a great experience.
