New Business Sales Executive – The North & Midlands
Position: New Business Sales Executive
Salary: £40k OTE Basic + Commission (Uncapped)
We are a small but highly ambitious and exciting young company. We own the exclusive distribution rights to a world class product that allows the UK’s leading restaurants, bars and clubs to sell the finest quality wines “by the glass”. We have secured some of the most prestigious clients in the industry including outlets owned by Harrods and Gordon Ramsay Holdings. In order to deliver on our aggressive growth plans for 2012, we need to expand our Sales Team with people covering the area around the North & Midlands. (This area excludes the South East and within the M25).
The role is to secure new business sales of our systems to independent retailers of wine. Clients will be restaurants, bars, hotels, clubs, or specialist wine shops.
We are primarily seeking an individual with ambition and drive to match our own. We are looking for a “hunter” mentality, someone who can confidently and consistently prospect for new opportunities as well close deals. The successful candidate will be comfortable with being rewarded for performance and used to delivering a sales quota.
Next on our list of “must haves” is an ability to quickly establish an effective and lasting business relationship with very successful (and in some cases very well known) business owners and senior managers. We need someone who can operate with little supervision and yet deliver consistent results.
Our ideal candidate will have some experience of selling into the Hospitality industry / or some experience with or knowledge of fine wine. However we will actively consider applications from those with other backgrounds who can convince us that their prior sales experience and skill-set are transferable to our marketplace.
Experience of selling capital equipment B2B would be a distinct advantage.
